Joe Follette, Jr. is a licensed marriage and family therapist with over 25 years of experience providing therapy and coaching for individuals of all ages. In 1999, he founded Agape Family & Group Therapy in Huntsville, Alabama, which later transitioned to Lifestyle Therapy & Coaching in 2009.
Before becoming a licensed marriage therapist, Joe was a pastor in several Seventh-day Adventist churches and a Chaplain Candidate in the US Army Reserves. Additionally, he was the freshman men's dormitory resident director at Oakwood University. Joe holds a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University and a Master of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Joe has led numerous group treatment programs throughout his career, including a state-certified substance abuse rehab program. As an Alabama Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist supervisor, he has trained many Marriage & Family Therapy interns. He is also a Certified Prepare/Enrich Facilitator and Trainer.
Joe is known for his positive, upbeat demeanor and warm, friendly personality. He approaches his clients with a non-judgmental attitude and values laughter and moments of epiphany in his sessions. His specialty is helping adults determined to achieve their dream marriages.

Joe and his wife, Claudia, have a blended family of five children and two grandchildren. In his free time, Joe enjoys golfing and walking his dog, Colby. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
